My trips to India always include a week at Varkala Beach in Kerala. The daily massage is as essential to me as the fresh fish in the numerous restaurants. My masseur is Arun (the man with the golden hands). The massages are tailored to the individual and their specific ailments. It's a small family business. Arun, his mother, and his brother offer professional treatments. A down-to-earth establishment, simply furnished with everything you need. A real hidden gem. Not a tourist trap, but wonderful people who know what they're doing.
Highly recommend. I had a 30min head and face massage with Nandu. He was really great, easy to chat to, and the massage was relaxing - I left feeling great. Suggest you book in at least a few hours in advance. The massage included a face mask, which took an additional 30mins, so factor that in too (unless, like me, you’re on holiday and don’t even know what day of the week it is). Prices very fair. A+++
I did a 7 day package with Olympia House to help a sore rib. Each session ranged from 1.5 to 2 hrs and changed throughout the week, and included a shower at the end. Ambily’s hands were healing hands. I felt so good after each massage and could feel my body mending itself. Her experience shows in her treatment - I’d happily return. Thank you Ambily and team!
